And just when you think that the hype could not get any bigger, director of Arkham Knight and Rocksteady co-founder, Sefton Hill, has teased about a brand new trailer (and character) which will be revealed sometime in the coming weeks. Hill tweeted that the new trailer has been delayed because they have “thought of a much more exciting way” to release it. He then requested fans to “wait a bit longer” and even mentioned that the trailer is “looking sweet” and will contain “someone familiar from Arkham City”.
While he did not give us any hints as to who this familiar face is, Hill did mention that the trailer will “show off a cool new feature” that no one from the studio has seen before. For now, one can only guess what this feature is but it is likely related to his previous tweet. You can check out his three successive tweets on the trailer below:
Hill’s tweet has managed to keep fans guessing as to who this familiar face will be. Many believe that the character could be Catwoman since she had a pretty significant role in Arkham Origins. As for the “new feature”, we haven’t the faintest idea what it could be. So the only thing left to do now is wait patiently for the new trailer to release.
Batman: Arkham Knight is slated to release on June 23rd for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
