Bigger boss battles, multiplayer hi-jinks and even a playable bad guy, all hint at what may well be the best Batman title yet — and now, with the announcement of the Batman: Arkham Origins Season Pass, aspiring students of the World’s Greatest Detective can piece together the Origins experience for less.
Priced at $19.99, the pack, which Warner Bros. Interactive claims carries a $30 value, will release alongside the game, and feature 5 of the title’s upcoming DLC offerings, including:

While character skins are always a welcome addition, the real points of interest here will surely be the pack’s gameplay expansions. Initiation’s Kirigi character first appeared in Batman #431 as one of Bruce Wayne’s early combat masters. Located in the snowy mountains of North Korea, the ninjutsu specialist maintains loose connections to the villainous League of Shadows, an organization that first appeared in the Arkham continuity as part of 2011’s Batman: Arkham City.
Kirigi’s dojo will reflect the series’ challenge map add-ons, likely threading a thin storyline through numerous gruelling tests, in order to keep the ‘beat the clock,’ high score incentives fresh. Buyers should be aware that this Season Pass only includes the 5 incentives listed above. Any multiplayer additions, if they do indeed happen, will not be covered by the price of the Pass.
