With just one image released of the monocled crime-lord it’s clear that Rocksteady’s incarnation will be much more grounded in reality, with his gang of thugs far more dangerous, and far less gimmicky than the skeptics may have been expecting....

With Batman: Arkham City releasing in under a week, waste makes haste, and for those who don’t care where their game is purchased from, having unlimited rentals for a month doesn’t seem too bad in the scheme of things. That is to say, if you can tear yourself away from playing Batman long enough to actually enjoy the service. The buzz surrounding Batman has been pretty active, with a great deal of information becoming evident in the recent weeks, some of it saddening....

The pass in question will be packaged with all new copies of Batman: Arkham City, and allows players to access Catwoman’s four playable story scenes, as well as enabling her in the game’s Challenge Mode. Players without the pass will still encounter Catwoman (who has a few alternate skins of her own) during the course of the game, though her missions will be unavailable. Retail chains across the United States, Europe, and Australia, have begun the process of informing customers that the Batman: Arkham Knight Batmobile Edition of the game won’t be shipping as originally intended....

On the day of its release, Bad Company 2 quickly climbed the charts and took first place amongst the top downloads. Like the illusive, yet growing in-demand sequel to Mirror’s Edge, another Bad Company title is a certainty, so says Electronic Arts. Ever since the pretty Frostbite 2 engine debuted with Battlefield 3, there’s been talk about a Frostbite-powered Mirror’s Edge 2. As recently as March a developer resume listed both Mirror’s Edge 2 and Bad Company 3 as projects they had worked on, and according to DICE executive producer Patrick Bach in an interview with IGN, EA is definitely not giving up on either series and would “never kill something that’s great....

There’s no denying the fact that the biggest phenomenon in gaming at the moment is Call of Duty, and a majority of those players are likely picking up the game exclusively for its online multiplayer. If DICE wants a slice of that action on consoles as well as the PC, Battlefield 3 will need to offer some serious multiplayer action. The online multiplayer we’ve seen of BF3 so far seems set to be bringing some unique features to draw fans from other franchises, but now we know that the online modes will likely only be free to those who purchase the game at full price....

What with the troubled launch of the game and the subsequent delay of DLC as a result, Battlefield 4 has struggled to stay relevant, despite a steady flow of new content and gameplay fixes. But now that regular content flow is coming to an end with the release of Battlefield 4: Final Stand....

Lisa Fernandez, 47, is facing a charge of second degree felony manslaughter after administering the injections without a license, KTRK reported. Fernandez went before a judge for the first time on Wednesday morning and was given a $40,000 bond. The judge also ordered that the 47-year-old cannot perform any unlicensed medical or cosmetic procedures. Ferandez, who described herself as a “working from home beauty consultant” in a pre-trial, told prosecutors that she knew the risks of the procedure if administered improperly....
