Earlier this month, the Democrat-led House of Representatives voted 252-175 to approve legislation to form an independent commission to probe the Capitol riot. But on Friday, the legislation was blocked in the Senate amid strong Republican opposition. Only six GOP senators crossed party lines to support the measure, which failed on a 54-35 vote. In an interview on CNN, the officer’s mother Gladys Sicknick and girlfriend Sandra Garza criticized Republicans for blocking the bill, which was modeled on the panel created to investigate the September 11, 2001 terror attacks....
Arkham City won’t be letting players fight their way through the game’s campaign alongside Batman though, as Robin will only be playable in challenge modes. Seeing the ‘Boy Wonder’ re-imagined in the far darker world of Rocksteady’s Batman is a good enough proposition, but those who love a good dose of whimsy have reason to be excited as well. The previous artwork showed a much older and gruffer Robin than comic book fans may be familiar with, but if nostalgia is what you’re after then the new alternate skins outed online will be welcome news....

One of the mechanics that the guys at Rocksteady put a lot of thought into was the gliding, which we saw in the first Arkham City gameplay video - it was given a revamp to let Batman ascend and descend, rather than just move from point A to point B....
Arkham City is one of the most highly anticipated games this year, and the inclusion of 3D support should bode well for those hoping to get some use out of their 3DTVs - or anyone thinking about buying one. Many developers have already expressed their belief that 3D technology is not yet ready to reach full market penetration, or create anything truly worthwhile. Despite this, it’s still good to see developers trying to incorporate the technology into their games - to give players the option to choose whether or not they want to play the game in 3D....

And now it’s Poison Ivy’s turn to take the spotlight in CW’s Batwoman series as the channel confirmed they had cast the character for Season 3. Pamela Isley, aka Poison Ivy, is set to make her debut as an adversary of Javicia Leslie’s Ryan Wilder in the forthcoming season. This skin was released with the game’s most recent update, Operation Broken Fang. The new CS:GO operation saw a bunch of new additions to the game. Apart from in-game cosmetics and new maps, the new operation also includes some quality of life upgrades such as the addition of a ping system and the chatwheel option. Newsweek spoke to Big Mouth co-creator Andrew Goldberg to get a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the Big Mouth Disclosure musical. Goldberg revealed that when he and co-creators Nick Kroll, Jennifer Flackett and Marc Levin were thinking about doing a musical episode, Disclosure was the first idea they had.
