The latest episode of PlayStation Network’s Qore has inadvertently revealed that Mad Hatter could be amongst the already-large cast in Arkham City. That’s not all either, as the segment also shows Poison Ivy – returning from the previous game – tangling with Catwoman, someone that looks like Mr. Freeze being tortured in a warm environment, and an actual look at Calendar Man in his cell. Switch on your detective vision and take a look at some stills from the segment posted below....

Surprisingly, the city has actually managed to rebuild itself one year after the events of Arkham City, recovering under the watchful gaze of its winged protector. The story concocted for the franchise’s finale promised to ruin that recovery, but it still requires the developers create a game world far more complicated than those which preceded it. Now, the developers have explained what fans can hope for, and why their version of Gotham City is only possible on next-gen systems....

In addition to an artbook and a tie-in comic, bat-fans who purchase the limited edition version of Arkham Knight will receive a sizable statue of Batman towering over Gotham City. An inscription on this statue reads ‘From a Grateful City In Memory of the Gotham Knight’, which would seem to be a pretty clear indication that the caped crusader will die over the course of the game. A major plot reveal in Arkham Origins was the fact that the Joker had been operating as the Black Mask for much of the game — something that was reflected via swappable heads for the statue included in the game’s collector’s edition....

Upon watching this, you may start to think the scripted events in other first person shooter games look a little tame in comparison. Battlefield 3’s multiplayer craziness has already been featured in a few trailers, including the Caspian Border trailer featuring a whole lot of stuff going on from soldiers on the ground, vehicles moving about, and aircraft. While multiplayer is going to be a very large focus for DICE and the fans who love the franchise, single-player is also something to consider getting into....

In terms of new weapons, players can look forward to two choices. First up is the Type 88 LMG. This weapon will most likely be exclusive to the new support class, which carries LMGs to help with suppressive fire, as well as ammo packs to help resupply teammates. The second weapon is the DAO-12 shotgun, which is semi-automatic and features a drum magazine. If Battlefield: Bad Company 2 offers any hints, chances are the shotgun will be class-agnostic, meaning it can be used with any class....

Scheduled to deploy later this month, Battlefield 4’s intel division appears to have sprung an early leak, releasing details on all 42 of the game’s highly-collectible achievement goals online. The full list of unlockable objectives appears below. ‘Storm Bringer’ -

The CW confirmed to TVLine that they would “create a brand new character” to replace Kane in the show. A now-deleted Reddit post featured a reported leaked casting call that might give fans of the DC Comics show their first look at the new Batwoman lead. Per Decider, this character is currently called “Ryan Wilder” and is described as: “Likable, messy, a little goofy and untamed.” The description adds: “With no one in her life to keep her on track, Ryan spent years as a drug-runner, dodging the GCPD [Gotham City Police Department] and masking her pain with bad habits....
