At the pre-GDC Xbox press event last week, Rocksteady executive Dax Ginn revealed in an interview some more information regarding Arkham City. In addition to Joker, Two-Face, Catwoman and the like, he promised that in the near future, more villains would be revealed for the game. He also talked about the possibility of using the Batmobile and a release date. From what we’ve learned so far, all the villains appearing in Batman: Arkham City will not ally themselves with one another, but instead be fighting one another in a huge turf war for the now-renamed Arkham City....

After seeing Arkham Origins in action up close at E3 2013, and playing it for ourselves, it’s safe to say that fans looking for more Arkham City will take to Origins without missing a beat. Whether that satisfies a majority of Rocksteady’s fanbase remains to be seen, but there’s no question that this take on Batman is a familiar one. Developing a spin-off game that is destined to be directly compared to one of the best open world titles in recent memory is challenging bad enough, but WB Games Montreal was founded to add their name to the Arkham franchise, meaning they can’t shy away from the task....

Back in February, a rumor started going around that Warner Bros. Interactive was developing a new Batman game exclusively for Xbox Live Arcade. Very little information was given beyond that, and it was mainly dismissed as just a rumor. After all, with the title being such a hot-seller right now, it would seem somewhat foolish to release a game solely for one system’s online market. However, new domain names were released today that may indicate that that title is on the way....

Come December 6, PlayStation 3 owners will be able to download Back to Karkand. The expansion includes four re-imagined maps (Wake Island, Sharqi Peninsula, Gulf of Oman, and Strike at Karkand) and three new vehicles (VSTOL fighter jet, Desert Buggy, and an APC) along with ten new weapons and five new dog tags. The expansion is free to owners of the Battlefield 3 Limited Edition, and $14.99 for everyone else....

There are likely few console fans who aren’t aware of the fact that the years-old hardware powering the Xbox 360 and PS3 are frozen in time compared to the ever-advancing computer components, so there’s little chance of this starting a panic. After all, it’s not as if the console versions will be any worse a game, with the same amount of content available and DICE already bragging about “massive” plans for DLC....

Even with the information that Dead Space developer Visceral Games would be taking the lead on Battlefield Hardline, an ambitious cops vs robbers themed series entry, Karl Magnus Troedsson, DICE VP & Group GM, also announced via blog post that the majority of the team at DICE would be working on fixing existing Battlefield 4 problems. Announced in another blog post from the Battlefield 4 team, an update to the game’s ‘Netcode’ is set to be rolled out as promised in Troedsson’s aforementioned statement....

Although the first season of the Ruby Rose series began in October, the next season of the show is expected to come later, as the network adjusts its schedule to deal with the interruption to production caused by the coronavirus. Owens, the former communications director at Turning Point USA, accused the news media of “ignoring” Pressley’s comments describing Conway, counselor to the president, as “Distraction Becky” earlier this month. Owens said the term “Becky” is a “racist pejorative” used against white people while also accusing Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar of having “hate” toward Jews. Nathan Fillion, however, might have the craziest Big Mouth role of all in Season 3, which has the Castle and The Rookie star play himself in a fan fiction sex fantasy that sees him romping with a man/horse called Gustavo (played by Carlos Alazraqui). Newsweek spoke to Big Mouth co-creator Andrew Goldberg about how he got Fillion to appear in the unique sex scene.
