We still don’t know how many secrets the team has left to announce, but given this latest villain reveal, it’s obvious we haven’t the slightest idea of what to expect next....

With this third game, Rocksteady Studios will bid its final farewell to the Arkham series. And as a main baddie for this latest game they have selected Scarecrow, who terrorizing the citizens of Gotham while unifying its criminal elite. These nasty ne’re-do-wells will include a number of familiar faces, including Two-Face, The Riddler and The Penguin. Speaking to Game Informer this week, the British studio outlined its vision for all three returning characters, detailing the changes made to each since 2011’s Arkham City....

Determined to keep the momentum going, Warner Bros. has placed the series into the hands of WB Games Montreal - a studio founded to help develop the Wii U version of Batman: Arkham City and more specifically to create Batman: Arkham Origins, a prequel setting the stage for the later games. Now that the game has arrived, does Origins succeed in shocking and surprising as well as their predecessors?...

With the marketing campaigns shaping up for both, two new TV spots have hit the internet and, supposedly, TV sets. Both take similar approaches focusing on the human element of playing the games rather than the actual gameplay, but both are going for different tones. First up, Call of Duty: Ghosts takes a comedic approach, using their TV spot series to showcase the competition between ’normal’ people. The commercials certainly show Activision’s understanding of the appeal of their online mode to the average person, and the competition that it can bring between friends or in the work place....

This is the case when comparing March’s best-selling games to February’s. The top three best-selling games of that month (The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D, Evolve, and Dying Light respectively) don’t even rank on March’s list. In fact, only four games from that month’s top selling titles even make an appearance in this list, and they are the blockbuster juggernauts of Grand Theft Auto V, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Minecraft, and NBA 2K15....

Despite that challenge, the game’s developers are committed to providing a positive, exciting experience for those players still handing out justice to criminals on the streets of Battlefield Hardline. Part of that commitment includes a fair amount of DLC, the first round of which is set to release next week. Publisher Electronic Arts revealed the full list of additions for the DLC, dubbed Criminal Activity, on the Battlefield website today....

For PC shooter fans especially, Battlefield Hardline looks to be a must-buy, if only because few games actually target that market without making concessions for console. PC is arguably the platform of choice when it comes to all Battlefield games, and we expect Hardline won’t be any different. But first things first, PC players need to know whether or not their gaming rigs can run Battlefield Hardline, either at recommended settings or, ideally, at maximum settings....

This, of course, left the show with a dilemma: how to deal with Kate Kane no longer being the main character and how to get the Batwoman cowl and cape to Wilder. In the end, Batwoman Season 2, Episode 1, streaming now on The CW website and app, the show dealt with Rose leaving in a way that explains what happened to Kate Kane while technically leaving the possibility open that Rose can return in the future....

This is a shame because Seehorn gave such a riveting performance in the season 5 episode, “Bad Choice Road.” In the suspenseful scene, the drug lord Lalo (Tony Dalton) drops by unannounced at Kim’s apartment. Lalo suspects Kim’s partner, Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk), of lying to him....

The announcement from Bandai Namco didn’t directly address the forthcoming entry and potential end to the action-RPG series, Dark Souls 3, so it’s possible for the publisher to reveal details for a project that’s related to the franchise like, say, a movie. Considering the fact that a lot of video game studios are jumping into the film industry by optioning their titles for the silver screen — Ubisoft is putting out an Assassin’s Creed movie in December 2016, for instance — it’s entirely plausible for From Software and Bandai Namco to adapt the interesting, albeit convoluted Dark Souls story for cinematic release....

While a normal format for the Bachelor, Bachelorette franchise, a shocking elimination occurred without even a hint at a date. While Reality Steve couldn’t confirm the order of Monday’s shenanigans, it looks like somehow Connor S was eliminated before even getting the chance at a one-on-one....

The Joker’s girlfriend and accomplice has long been rumored to be charged with continuing the plot of Arkham City, and now an official image released by the developers themselves all but confirms it....

It’s been evident for a while that the follow-up to Arkham Asylum would be departing from the type of lonely, singular narrative so often employed for Batman stories. Since the announcement that a playable Catwoman would be bringing a major shift to the feel of the game’s campaign, the cast of characters has grown and grown. Now both men who have claimed the ‘Robin’ moniker are set to help out Bats in Arkham City’s Challenge Modes, with an extended look at Robin gameplay released just hours ago....
