After keeping relatively quiet for the past year, we’ve gotten a serious chunk of Arkham City announcements to show just how much larger a game this will be than Arkham Asylum. From the reveal of the Penguin to confirmation of a playable Catwoman, fact-starved fans must be grinning from ear to ear. But with that many announcements comes the inevitable barrage of questions from the fan community, as the to the exact nature of some of the content previewed....

The release date for the PC version of Batman: Arkham City has changed a few times. First it was scheduled for November 8, then November 15. Thankfully, Warner Bros. Interactive has finally decided to step in and set things straight. The PC version of Batman: Arkham City will be released on November 22, 2011, in North America and November 25, 2011, in the European territories. The release date for the PC version of Batman: Arkham City had sort of been lost in the shuffle of other issues surrounding the game, such as anger over the VIP Pass required to play as Catwoman (news that some copies of the game had missing or invalid codes couldn’t have helped matters, either)....

Check it out now!] We’ve been scratching our heads and wondering how exactly Rocksteady was going to make good on their promise to make Robin as cool as Batman, and the trailer is a good sign of the work they’ve been doing. This is just a brief look at combat, but it’s safe to say that the recently-revealed Nightwing won’t be the only partner Batman can rely on....

Sure along the way we had a spin-off in the form of the futuristic Battlefield 2142, expansion packs, and the series’ console cousin Bad Company games making it to the PC, but fans have long been clamoring for a true sequel....

Considering BF3 was EA’s fastest-selling game ever, it made business sense, but for fans, it raised concerns over what new features the game would include, and what missing features from previous installments it would bring back. Thanks to a series of surveys looking for feedback on developer DICE’s first next-gen game, we can already get a sense of what Battlefield 4 aims to include when it releases this fall....

Thus far, Battlefield 4 has already seen a king’s bounty of additional content added into its multiplayer variant, but very soon that library will balloon even further. Battlefield 4: Naval Strike is the latest Battlefield 4 DLC pack in the pipeline, bringing with it four new maps, new weapons, new gadgets, a new vehicle, and even a new mode....

Nevertheless, Microsoft is hoping to drastically change opinions with the introduction of the Kinect 2.0 on Xbox One. The reportedly much improved sensor is now more adept at tracking movements, reading player’s facial expressions, and head movement. That fidelity could result in more subtle implementation in games - and it seems Battlefield 4 is already trying to take advantage. Polygon reports that at an Xbox One event, EA demonstrated how the Kinect 2....

However, just like the game’s big budget movie source material, which rebrands the grid-based Naval combat of the original game as an epic battle between the U.S. Navy and a Transformers-like alien invasion, the upcoming Activision title is also set to drop its boardgame source material in favor of a modern spin - in this case a first person shooter hybrid. The Battleship tie-in is set to be developed by Double Helix Games - the studio responsible for (mostly) a resume of uninspired games (Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters, Front Mission Evolved, and Silent Hill Homecoming) that don’t really warrant much confidence that the title will offer anything but average gameplay paired with an underwhelming story....

Diaz announced his arrival at Anfield with a goal in the Reds’ 3-1 victory over Norwich City in the Premier League last weekend. The Colombia international needed only four games to open his account for the Merseysiders. Agbonlahor has now issued a warning to Reds duo Keita and Oxlade-Chamberlain following Diaz’s impressive start to life at Anfield. The former Aston Villa star feels the 25-year-old could soon force the two midfielders out of the team....

David Nalbandian lost in straight sets at Wimbledon on Monday in his first match since being disqualified in the Queen’s final for destroying an advertising hoarding and wounding a line judge. The Argentinian was beaten 6-4, 7-6 (7/4), 6-2 by Serbian eighth seed Janko Tipsarevic in the first match of the championships scheduled on Court One. At Queen’s, Nalbandian had been a set ahead in the final against Marian Cilic when he booted the hoarding around the line judge’s feet, smashing it into his shin and leaving him bleeding and clearly in pain....
