Although the woman behind Batwoman, Kate Kane, has been out as a lesbian since the start of The CW series, in Sunday’s episode her Batwoman alter-ego also come out in a cover story for the fictional Catco magazine. The big reveal came after the superhero was plagued with rumors that she was dating cop Slam Bradley. In coming out, Batwoman takes inspiration from Parker Torres (Malia Pyles), a hacker who is outed to her parents by a spurned ex-girlfriend....

The game feature isn’t a new one by any stretch of the imagination, but important to note due to the sheer amount of gadgets and skills that Batman is sure to acquire throughout the game’s 25 hour long campaign. EA’s latest blog post focused on some of the changes that would be done to Battlefield: Bad Company 2 to make it Vietnam compliant. Most of the tools still function the same, but are reskinned to be more accurate to the era. Rather than toting high tech gadgets like blocks of C4, you will now have bundles of of dynamite; the vehicle repair tool will now be a blow torch and defibrillators are now adrenaline syringes....

Karl Magnus Troedsson, DICE’s general manager, believes that few developers take the need for evolution seriously. Troedsson believes that FPS gamers expect to see a worthwhile step forward from new games, and that a lack of innovation will cause those same games to be left behind. The developers at DICE try to get around this issue by constantly challenging themselves to do better. The members of the Swedish studio believe that there is always something they could have improved on, and by focusing on those faults they’re able to keep innovating....
